about
Dedicated to the memory of my sister JoAnn Sawka, 1954-2016.
This recording started back around 1988 with JoAnn's vocal parts recorded in my apartment on a PortaStudio. There was a poorly recorded backing track of a drum machine and some guitars and keyboards that will never see the light of day. I found the tape a few months ago and transferred the tracks to ProTools. I then corrected the pitch and synched it up to a click track for Chris and me to add the instrumentation. The coda at the end is part of an even older recording I did with her when I was in High School, probably around 1983.
I think she'd like it.
